A concept for project teams that need decisions, not another task list.
Kara is a research-led concept for a cloud project-management platform for hybrid teams. Gramida shaped a modular product direction combining real-time workspaces, hybrid methodology and an explainable AI assistant.

The operating context
The business constraint
Teams increasingly work across locations and methodologies, but many tools force a false choice between a task board and a plan. The concept addresses three gaps: decision support from live data, a flexible hybrid workflow, and visibility that helps distributed teams align without more status meetings.
What Gramida designed and built
- A multi-tenant modular cloud architecture with shared identity and permissions plus independent task, schedule, resource, reporting and AI modules.
- A TypeScript/Node.js backend with PostgreSQL, Redis queues and cache, containerised CI/CD, and a React/WebSocket real-time client.
- An AI assistant designed to suggest delay risks, resource options and summaries while keeping final decisions with people.
- A hybrid work engine that combines agile boards, predictive Gantt planning and OKRs in one workspace.
Evidence and outcomes
This is a concept case, not a published product-result claim. The supplied 12-team pilot plan and its proposed measures—reporting time, milestone on-time delivery, risk coverage, onboarding time and NPS—are validation targets. Any future measured pilot results will be published only after the data is verified.
What the work reinforced
AI gains trust when it explains a recommendation and leaves accountability with the team. The architecture also needs to capture reliable events from day one; otherwise strategic reporting and prediction become retrospective guesses.
